Giana Paterno, D.M.D.

I grew up in Elmwood Park, Illinois and received my bachelor’s degree in biology from Indiana University. I went on to earn my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  While in dental school, I was a two-time recipient of Dr. Cascio award for clinical excellence and participated in several community outreach programs. I volunteered at Northwest Community Healthcare mobile dental clinic servicing residents of Elk Grove, Palatine, Wheeling, and Schaumburg.

I am an active member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of General Dentist, and the Arcolian Society.  I regularly attend meetings and continuing education seminars to stay up to date with the latest advancements in the dental field and am a certified Invisalign provider.

I am very passionate about dentistry and believe in patient education so that my patients can make informed decisions when it comes to their health care. I enjoy being a general dentist because I am able to treat an entire family, from pediatrics to geriatrics and everything in between.  It is important to me that all patients feel comfortable throughout their dental treatments.

When I am not practicing dentistry I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and being active. I love reading and am always looking for new book recommendations.

I am excited to become part of your community and continue providing you with excellent dental care.

Danielle Kerger, D.D.S.

I was raised in Aurora, Illinois and attended the University of Illinois and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Upon graduation, I moved to Omaha, Nebraska to study at Creighton University School of Medicine where I earned a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences. Researching was an amazing experience, and I loved Creighton so much that I decided to stay there to attend Creighton University School of Dentistry. I had a wonderful experience at the dental school, serving as a student teacher in prosthodontics, receiving numerous scholarships, the Pediatric Award of Excellence, and graduating with honors.

I am a member of the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. I have also received Invisalign certification and have extensive experience with digital dentistry.

I reside in Wheaton with my husband and three beautiful daughters. We love spending time together as a family, and exploring all of the things that Chicagoland has to offer!

I look forward to meeting you and providing you with excellent dental care.

Dr. Jacob Samuel, D.M.D

My name is Dr. Jacob Samuel, and I am very excited to support the St. Charles community. I spent the majority of my childhood in Naperville and attended Neuqua Valley High School. After graduating high school, I proceeded to attend the University of Dallas to major in Biology. I then moved back home to Chicago and received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Downers Grove. I have been practicing dentistry for over five years now.

Growing up as a teen, I was embarrassed of my smile. Thankfully, dentistry and orthodontics transformed me into a person who now is very sociable, confident, and incredibly grateful. I understand the apprehension my patients face and the barriers preventing dentistry from positively impacting their lives. With this in mind, I make sure to give my patients a great experience and provide the highest quality care possible.

Dentistry is my passion and I genuinely enjoy the profession. I am a member of the Chicago Dental Society, American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentists. I am also part of an exclusive dental study club in Geneva where I collaborate with other dental professionals about complex cases. I am always learning to improve my patient’s lives. When I am not practicing dentistry, my hobbies include traveling, exercise, and photography. My family and wife keep me grounded at all times. They are the backbone of my success!

Patient centered care is my inspiration; I am dedicated to providing top quality care for each and every one of you. My goal is to help each patient receive the smile they deserve through understanding, compassion, and hard work. I look forward to meeting each of you personally!
